On 3/3/24 at approx. 8:55pm, Decatur ISD admin. and Decatur PD were notified of a suspicious social media post possibly concerning Decatur ISD. Investigation began immediately and the post has been determined to originate from a student living in another school district. That school district's local PD is now handling the situation. Thank YOU to our watchful community for noticing and reporting suspicious activity.

We are two weeks from Spring break! I can't believe our school year is almost 3/4 complete. Over the next two weeks we will have interim and TELPAS testing happening. On interim testing, our campus will be closed down to outside visitors, including bringing students lunch. Please have students prepared to bring a lunch or get lunch from the cafeteria. Students will also need to bring chrome books charged for interim testing. We do not have many extras if students don't bring theirs. Thanks for helping make our testing days as smooth as possible.
