2024-25 Hybrid Calendar Feedback

Thank you to Decatur ISD students, staff, and families, as well as the local community, for taking time to complete our 2024-25 Hybrid Calendar Survey.

The development of the 4-day calendar for the next school year (2025-26) has been a unique, two-year process that has allowed us to implement a hybrid calendar for the current, 2024-25 school year. This current, hybrid calendar has included a combination of traditional, 5-day school weeks, and 4-day school weeks.

This survey has helped us collect meaningful feedback from DISD stakeholders regarding our current calendar, and to allow us to continue the work to develop an optimal, 4-day calendar for next year. The survey was open Nov. 1 - Nov. 13, 2024. In addition to publishing the survey results on this webpage, the results have also been shared with the DISD School Board, the District Education Improvement Council (DEIC), and the District. For more information regarding how DISD calendars are developed, visit https://www.decaturisd.us/page/calendar-planning.

We hope you'll take the time to review the survey results! And thank you all, again, for your assistance in helping us build an optimal, 4-day calendar for next school year!
