COVID-19 Guidelines

The Centers for Disease Control released updated Respiratory Virus Guidance in response to the decreasing risk that COVID-19 poses to the population. This updated Guidance includes strategies to protect people at highest risk of getting seriously ill and provides actionable recommendations for people with common viral respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, flu, and RSV.

When diagnosed with Flu, COVID-19, or RSV the following guidelines should be followed. Stay at home and away from others until symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. The CDC no longer recommends isolation for 5 days. When symptom-free for 24 hours without medication you may resume normal activities. It is, however, recommended to use extra caution for the next 5 days when around others.

Medication Consent Form

Effective August 2024, there is a new, state-mandated change regarding the administration of medications during the school day. All over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications will now require signatures using the Medication Consent Form from a medical provider and a parent or guardian. Learn about the medication rule change.
