The Finance Office has increased its efforts to provide transparent financial information for all stakeholders of Decatur ISD. One of the Finance Office’s objectives is to present financial reports and relevant information in a format that is easily understandable and in a way to promote transparency and accountability. As part of this continuing process, the Finance Office upkeeps this website to provide you, the taxpayer, with more direct access to many of the district’s most important documents.

This website provides essential financial information regarding Decatur ISD’s revenues, expenditures, tax rates, cost drivers and comparative data to ensure the public has the information it needs to make informed decisions about the financial stability of the District.

The Decatur ISD operates on a fiscal year beginning September 1 and ending August 31.

Budget planning is an integral part of overall program planning, so that the budget may effectively express and implement all programs and activities of the district.

Financial Services oversees a number of departments, including accounting, accounts payable, benefits, budget, finance, child nutrition, payroll, PIEMS and purchasing.
